In June, visitors from as many as 47 countries and regions around the world joined InnoVEX Online 2021 to search for potential innovations, cooperations, and investments.

TCA stated that InnoVEX Online 2021 will break away from the traditional online exhibition format that has a strict deadline. Instead, InnoVEX Online 2021 will continue to accept startup teams to join the exhibition for online matchmaking. As face-to-face meetings are still restricted due to the pandemic, the move to an online exhibition & matchmaking ensures startups can still look for business opportunities; as well as meet, negotiate, and cooperate with international VCs, corporate VCs (CVCs), in addition to potential domestic and international partners.

The top 10 countries and regions for the visitors are: Taiwan, Singapore, the United States, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Finland, India, and Switzerland. In the times of pandemic, the online format of InnoVEX allows exhibitors to overcome geographical & timezone limitations while following quarantine and social distancing regulations. It also attracts a great number of diverse visitors and potential investors as well as greatly increasing the reach of the exhibiting startups.

In addition, TCA also stated that the online format of InnoVEX Online 2021 provides domestic and international startup teams with a platform to showcase their innovations throughout the year without any limitations or restrictions commonly found in physical exhibitions. InnoVEX Online 2021 is also a one-stop service for local and international investors: VCs, CVCs, system integrators (SIs), buyers, and more. Visitors can use the platform's built in search engine to directly search for the startup teams they are interested in through the keyword search or search by category function in addition to other 3rd party social media or online meeting platforms. This year, InnoVEX also cooperates with FUNTEK, an exhibitor of InnoVEX Online 2021 to help facilitate meetings between startups and investors with their PinChat online chat service which can greatly improve the efficiency of VCs or companies to find and cooperate with the exhibiting startups.

All of the topics are in high demand as companies constantly look for trends in digital transformation, particularly ones driven by the latest economic trends. Especially because innovation now has moved away from creating wholly new innovative technologies and products; but instead to upgrade existing technology and products as required by companies and society.

This transformation not only allows startups to gain long term income through providing products and services, but also through cooperation with mature companies to enable the companies and society as a whole to carry out and plan their digital transformation.
