The Canadian Trade Office in Taipei in Taipei (CTOT) is the representative office of the Canadian government in Taiwan. The commercial section of CTOT helps Canadian companies expand and succeed in Taiwan; as well as providing information and services to help Taiwanese companies to do business & invest in Canada.


One of the initiatives recently launched by Canadian Trade Office in Taipei is the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) program in Taipei which aims to make both Canada and Taiwan’s start-up and innovation ecosystems more successful. To promote the program, CTOT will bring a delegation of 14 companies representing 3 major industries: AI, IoT, and Digital Health to the Canadian AIoT Pavilion in booth D0429 in InnoVEX 2019, TWTC Hall 1.

ImmerVision

Immervision enables intelligent vision in any device. They design wide-angle lenses with augmented resolution to see more and AI-ready image processing to see smarter. In 2018, Immervision’s Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer, Alessandro Gasparini joined the InnoVEX 2018 Forum on Best Practices to Get Started with Enterprise AI.


Springdel Technology

Springdel offers AI based predictive total solution; mixing Hardware, Software and AI. Their solutions are usable in retail, transportation, and manufacturing. Their solution, Springmatic is an Edge Computing solution that enables communication across mobility and IoT, covering different data sources. Springmatic deploys Machine Learning to the Edge communication layer to control every endpoint entities.

Cognitive Systems combine silicon design, RF, and cryptography to interpret wireless signals. Intrinsync

Intrinsync provides product development services and Edge Computing modules to take IoT products to the next level: by building AI and advanced analytics directly into the devices and systems where insights are needed in real-time. Intrinsync’s Open-Q System on Modules and Single Board Computers help OEMs to rapidly bring industry leading products, with rich functionality and high performance, to market.


Autonom

Autonom design their products using the latest technologies and best power conversion architectures to provide clients with high end compact battery backup systems that helps them grow and upgrade their services. Autonom partners with telecommunication companies to help them save space and upgrade their network by providing them compact high end battery backup systems for their equipment.

Generations E

Generations E focuses on building AI-powered medical imaging solutions. Their product, DeepScene is a pathologist diagnostic assistance solution on automating colorectal cancer biopsy slide analysis. Generations E recently signed an MOU with Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital which will participate in DeepScene clinical study retrospective in May 2019.


Studio 1 Labs

Studio 1 Labs develop fabric sensor technology which is implemented in intelligent bed sheets to be utilized in digital health. Their world leading fabric sensor technology allows everyday soft items to be turned into connected systems to improve health monitoring, without requiring any attachments to the body. The intelligent bed sheets also include fall prevention to further monitor the patients.


KA Imaging

KA Imaging has designed and developed a portable Multi-Energy X-ray detector that enables soft-tissue differentiation, a key advantage over current technology. KA Imaging’s single exposure Multi Energy X-ray visualizes soft tissue with one radiation exposure without losing information and no motion artifact. Their solutions are usable for more than just medical purposes, but also industrial and security.
