The innovation hub of Asia – InnoVEX will return from May 20 to 23, 2025 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX) Hall 2. In 2024, InnoVEX gathered 400 startups from 32 countries and regions. 2024 marked the most diverse InnoVEX yet; featuring country pavilions representing Australia, Belgium, Brazil, France, India, Indonesia, and Japan. In total, the event was joined by 32,850 visitors from around the world.

Taipei Computer Association (TCA), one of the organizers, stated that enterprise digital transformation is expected to be dominated by startups, InnoVEX 2025 aims to gather digital solution providers from all walks of life. This includes: AI, semiconductors, smart mobility, energy technology, smart manufacturing, 6G, satellite communications, biomedical technology, agetech, healthcare & biotech, sportstech, drones, space technology, sustainability, and other digital transformation and innovative applications.

To boost Taiwan's position as a global semiconductor powerhouse, the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) organizes the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge. Focusing on teams actively leveraging innovative IC design to develop advanced application solutions or enhanced technologies, the Challenge gives special attention to teams in the fields of Smart Data and AI, Smart Mobility, Smart Manufacturing, Smart Medtech, and Sustainability.

Quinas Technology (ULTRARAM)

Quinas Technology is a multi award-winning spin-out from the Physics Department of Lancaster University in the UK. One of the first winners of the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge in the Smart Data & AI category, Quinas Technology introduced ULTRARAM, an energy-efficient universal memory with a unique, innovative and highly disruptive approach. ULTRARAM uses the band engineering properties of III-V compound semiconductors, allowing it to exploit quantum-mechanics to achieve its remarkable properties.

 
 

GalaVerse USA

Galaverse is a US-AU team that boasts decades of experience in the semiconductor industry and specializes on modularized products. One of the first batch winners of the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge in the Smart Mobility category, Galaverse boasts decades of experience in the semiconductor industry and specializes on modularized products. Their Advanced AI Sensing Chip for New Sensor Networks utilizes advanced AI algorithms to process complex communication signals, enabling seamless integration of sensing and communications (ISAC).
 
 

Voltraware Semiconductor Co. Ltd.

Voltraware is a fabless semiconductor company from Taiwan that specializes in the research and development of ICs for wireless power transfer applications. One of the winners of the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge in the Sustainability category, their Magnetic Resonance (MR) based technology can charge devices at a distance with positional freedom. Voltraware assists customers in integrating wireless charging solutions into their products using exclusive tools for coil and system designs, firmware algorithms, and specialty IC.
