What’s your take on Taiwan’s role in the next wave of global innovation?

At the Taiwan-U.S. SMEs AI Industry Forum at InnoVEX 2025 in Taipei, experts from Microsoft Taiwan, Qualcomm, and leading startups emphasized how AI is no longer optional—it’s a game-changer for SMEs.

“I've been in Taiwan for 30 years, met over 1,200 local SMEs, and what stands out is how customer-focused they are. That’s a big strength. But as mostly small, family-run businesses, they face real challenges when expanding into the U.S.—especially with talent shortages, leadership development, and navigating unfamiliar financial ecosystems." --Chris Cottorone, President, TriOrient Investments.

Taiwanese companies excel at making things—but managing global operations is a new chapter. Now is the time to learn from international best practices and scale with confidence.
