Bridging Silicon Valley and Taiwan- InnoVEX and ICTGC to Host Semiconductor & AI Event in California

InnoVEX, together with the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge (ICTGC) organized by Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), will host “Bridging Silicon Valley and Taiwan: Semiconductor & AI Synergies” on January 13, 2026, at Startup Island Taiwan’s Silicon Valley Hub in Palo Alto, California.

This special event unites Taiwan’s world-leading semiconductor ecosystem with Silicon Valley’s pioneering innovation culture—creating new pathways for founders, researchers, and investors to collaborate in deep tech and AI. It also introduces the ICTGC program, a government-backed initiative designed to help global startups access mentorship, funding, and Taiwan’s advanced R&D and manufacturing resources.

Distinguished speakers include Laura Swan (Silicon Catalyst), Andy Lombard (Tesoro Ventures), Janis Skriveris (Plug and Play Ventures), and Sam Fok (femtoAI), with Michael Raspuzzi (Hardware User Group) leading an interactive open-mic session.

IC Taiwan Grand Challenge to Host Forum at APICTA Awards in Kaohsiung
 
To showcase the diverse vitality and innovative strength of Taiwan’s startup ecosystem, the ICTGC team is holding “Taiwan Startup Connect: The Global Hub for AI and Innovation Growth”, from 10:30 to 12:00, on December 8th, 2025 at Intercontinental Kaohsiung. The forum invited award-winning startup teams from the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge. These startups will share their achievements and engage in in-depth discussions with experts from APICTA on forward-looking topics such as AI, 5G, and digital applications.

The event highlights Taiwan’s dynamic progress and applications across multiple fields, including 5G communication technology, magnetic resonance wireless charging technology, Edge AI computing, and medical endoscopic imaging platforms, demonstrating Taiwan’s strong capabilities in technological innovation and cross-domain integration.

In addition, the forum introduces the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge (ICTGC), presenting the startup resources and support it provides. Through the sharing of successful competition cases, the event aims to foster stronger connections across international startup ecosystems through the APICTA platform.
