【InnoVEX 2024 Pitch Contest Winners: The Applied Cryptography Laboratory From NTUST (Taiwania Capital Innovation Award)】
In the intricate transportation networks and systems today, credential verification is a new way to ensure the security of connected vehicle systems. By enabling vehicles to exchange information with roadside infrastructure such as traffic lights and smart poles, drivers can maintain stable safe distances and avoid accidents or congestion.
At the InnoVEX Pitch Contest 2024, a lab from the Department of Information Management at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology has developed a groundbreaking authenticated encryption verification mechanism for vehicles, to address the challenges of connection loss while authenticating vehicles in high-speed traffic and related environments.
With the innovative solution, the team won the Taiwania Capital Innovation Award at the InnoVEX Pitch Contest, sponsored by Taiwania Capital, a famous venture capitalist in the startup ecosystem.
