Shri Sanjiv, Joint Secretary at the Department for Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry is an IRS o􀆯icer of 1993 batch. As part of his present assignment, he heads the Startup India initiative and is committed to building India a world class startup ecosystem. In addition to this, he is also looking after various other Divisions at DPIIT, namely, Consumer Industry, Internal Trade and e-Commerce, Research and Analysis Wing, Project Development Cells, Productivity Improvement, Internal Trade and e-Commerce. Shri Sanjiv is also Member of Board of Directors of Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) and instrumental in bringing out Quality Control Orders (QCOs) for various products.
