The website is operated by "Taipei Computer Association (TCA)", one of the organizers of InnoVEX. We hereby clarify and inform you of our collection, processing and use with respect to your personal information provided through this website. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect your name, position, telephone number, cell phone number, email address, company name, company tax ID number, nationality, technical information which include IP address, Cookie information, etc.

The applicant shall provide full and accurate personal information. Inappropriate impersonation is prohibited. The applicant should receive approval from the employee of business enterprise before submitting information. We may disqualify applicants if any false information is presented; if any damages caused to the organizer or any third party, the applicant shall be solely liable for all legal obligations.

You can request us to stop collecting, processing, using or to delete your personal data and unsubscribe our notification services, but upon taking the actions, the services of our website and InnoVEX will be restricted at some different levels.

How We Use Your Personal Data

All personal data collected by our website will solely be used by the organizers of InnoVEX, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), for internal application and with respect to the following purposes and ranges. Except the usage in accordance with relevant laws and this statement, we will not disclose your personal data to third parties or use it for other purposes.

  • For the information confirmation, service notifications, industry or event news notices, internal management, statistics and analysis and other legal or necessary purposes, your personal data will be stored in our servers and utilized it by various kinds of programs. You may unsubscribe to stop receiving the notifications of our services.
  • Once a user has registered as a member of My InnoVEX, we may use the email addresses/ mobile phone numbers captured from the membership registrations to send you information about InnoVEX events.
  • We will take legitimate actions to stop processing, using or to delete your personal data if we determine that you are under the age of majority in your country of residence and do not have the consent or authorization of your legal representative.
  • We will take appropriate technical measures to protect the security of your personal data. Your personal data may be transferred to arears outside your country of residence and may be subject to different privacy laws than those in your country of residence. As a consequence, we will ensure that your personal information is processed and utilized in an appropriate manner to the extent necessary and reasonable for the purpose for which it was collected and until the purpose for which it was collected is no longer valid. However, if you are covered by the EU GDPR, we will only process your personal data in a manner that complies with the GDPR’s transfer requirements. We will only transfer your personal data to a third country/ domain/ special department/ international organization under the transfer requirements of the GDPR.

  • Right to object to automated decision-making
    The data subject shall have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning him or her or similarly significantly affects him or her.
