Dr. Yang is a clinical psychiatrist and neuroscientist. He currently serves as Chair of the School of Medicine and Director of the Digital Medicine and Smart Healthcare Research Center at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan, as well as Deputy Director of the Medical AI Center at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. He applies advanced analytic methods to neurophysiological signals, including EEG and fMRI, to uncover insights into aging and mental illness. He has also developed several smartphone apps and AI platforms for smart healthcare. Internationally, he also serves as Associate Editor for npj Digital Medicine and is recognized in the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientist Rankings from 2021 to 2024, achieving an H-index of 53.
