Founded Darwin Ventures with Dr Yaoting Wang in 2008. Darwin Ventures focuses on early-stage investment and has offices at Taipei, Hsinchu and Tokyo. Darwin has invested over 150 companies. Simon received PhD from Stanford University, Materials Science and Engineering. Before founding venture capital firms, his early career is in semiconductor: Texas Instruments and UMC. Simon authored several books and currently is writing technology columns for “Business Today” (今週刊)
