Yvie Tai is Director of Business Development at Qualcomm Inc. and is responsible for program managing Qualcomm Innovate in Taiwan Challenge (QITC). With this role, she builds partnerships, and finds new business opportunities arising out of the program. QITC was started in 2019 to support the development of Taiwan startup ecosystem by identifying and nurturing innovative startups.
After joining Qualcomm in 2007, Yvie has held various roles including as software lead in the Customer Engineering department and senior manager in the Product Marketing department of Qualcomm CDMA Technology (QCT) where she led the adjacent market business development in Taiwan and drove design wins and products launch.
Yvie holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing-Hua University and National Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan.
