Erwin Six is a seasoned innovator with 20 years of experience in research, technology strategy, corporate venturing and R&D leadership.

He joined Barco in 2018. As R&D director, he led the development and scale-up of the new ClickShare Conference product line, new ClickShare Apps and XMS cloud solution. In his current role as ClickShare Technology & Innovation Director, he leads several innovation projects in the context of ‘the future workspace’ and is responsible for ClickShare's Intellectual Property.

Before joining Barco, he was active in many areas of the telecom industry ranging from Software Defined Networking (SDN), Cloud/NFV, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, UC&C platforms, Optical Access and IP networking. He was privileged to work for Bell Labs, Nokia's industrial research lab, where he learned the ropes of disruptive innovation. With his work, he initiated several corporate ventures and stood at the cradle of various new product lines.

Erwin Six has contributed to several standardization activities and has (co-)authored approximately 15 papers and more than 35 patents.
