ABOUT InnoVEX

In 2016, COMPUTEX TAIPEI, the world’s leading technology tradeshow, aimed to make transformation to meet the booming demand of innovative applications in ICT industry. Taipei Computer Association (TCA), one of the organizers, hosted the first InnoVEX which has diversified events and matchmaking platforms to accelerate the collaboration of ideas, innovative technologies and manufacturing capacity.

InnoVEX is truly unique to other startup events. With tens of thousands of ICT manufacturers and international buyers of COMPUTEX TAIPEI, InnoVEX is the only exhibition platform that can simultaneously match international capital, manufacturing partners, market channels, and medial exposures at the same time. Located conveniently at the heart of Asia, InnoVEX is the hub towards strategic markets and business collaborations of Asia Pacific Region. The scale of the exhibition has grown year by year, and it has become one of the leading startup stages in the world.

The scale of the InnoVEX exhibition expands steadily each year. In 2019, the number of exhibiting startup teams has been doubled of the first year. A total of 467 startup teams from 25 countries and regions exhibited, and the number of visitors reached 18251, including hundreds of international investors and corporate VCs. In addition, many technology companies and international buyers participating in COMPUTEX TAIPEI also visited InnoVEX to seek new business opportunities with innovative technology.

InnoVEX holds various events to help startups accelerating commercial progress and making new contacts, including International Forum delivering global innovative perspective and trends; Pitch Contests with cash prizes and investor judges; One-on-one Matchmaking meetings with overseas venture capitals; Demo Day presentations for elites from around the world; and the most attractive Night Party for international startups and VCs.

3 DAYS INTERNATIONAL FORUM

The three-day international forum is one of the most popular events during InnoVEX, attracting thousands of participants to the Center Stage every year, and making hundreds of thousands of views through online streaming.

The InnoVEX Forum invites more than 40 representatives from global startup ecosystem, including domestic and overseas investors, entrepreneur leaders, and the technology industry experts to share and discuss the latest technology topics and innovation trends. The topics of the 2019 forum included AI, Internet of Things, blockchain, smart manufacturing, sports tech, and global startup ecosystems. In addition to technology-related issues, the “Women In Tech” session was first held in 2018, inviting successful female entrepreneurs from four countries to share on the same stage. The audience was full and the response was enthusiastic.

USD 400K+ PITCH PRIZES

The InnoVEX Pitch Contest is the official startup contest held by the organizers, inviting nearly 20 international investors to serve as judges, and gathering Taiwanese government resources and corporate sponsors as rewards and the total prizes pool exceeded US$ 400,000.

In addition to attractive cash prizes, candidates can also make public pitches on the InnoVEX stage to increase exposure which attracts hundreds of global startup teams to compete each year. In 2019, MedFluid from Taiwan won first prize with its personalized antibiotic rapid screening platform.
