The only Low Power Wide Area Network used for smart electricity metering in Taiwan's largest IoT project: Ubiik implemented the Weightless LPWAN technology with which it won supplier qualification and a US$ 8M contract from Tai-Power in 2018. This is Taiwan's most ambitious IoT project to wirelessly connect smart electricity meters to their Analytics cloud and save energy. Ubiik also is the only company making low-power ePaper tags with a mile-long range used by semiconductor factories to go paperless. Other applications include Ubiik's low-power trackers for smart city, logistics or agriculture cases.
