Food-induced anaphylaxis and acute immune response are significant issues in public health care. In US, over 0.2 million people get the emergency treatments due to food anaphylaxis, also more than 25 billion USD are expensed for food allergy related health care. For this unmet need, sensitive and point-of-use device for on-site food allergen detection is highly desirable in market. We have developed an IoT food allergen detection device. The handheld device can analyze food allergens within 2 min. This personalized device can be randomly applied anytime and anywhere with secured data connection to cloud storage through smartphone.
