BMW to Share the Trends of Future Mobility in InnoVEX 2018 Forum

InnoVEX, the Innovation Hub of Asia will return from June 6 to 8 in TWTC Hall 3. One of the organizers, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) stated that according to a report from ResearchAndMarkets (*1), the global connected car market was worth USD 72.89 billion in 2017 and is projected to reach up to USD 219.21 billion by 2025, at a CAGR of 14.8% from 2017 to 2025. This number consists of software, hardware and services; including Connected Services, Safety & Security, and Autonomous Driving.

"BMW Future Mobility Forum” will take place at InnoVEX
As the the only luxury car brand that participates in InnoVEX this year, BMW is going to unveil the mobility of tomorrow to the public in Taiwan through holding the “BMW Future Mobility Forum” during 13:00-14:30 on 6 Jun. 2018. Dr. Mario Urbina Cazenave, BMW Lead UI/UX (User Experience and Interaction) Designer, will come all the way from Munich to give a keynote speech on “BMW Future Vision: Autonomous, Connected, Electric, Shared”. The trends in technical development and user interface, for example, 5G and AI, will also be mentioned in the his speech. The new BMW i8 roadster will also be displayed at InnoVEX to demonstrate the pioneering and groundbreaking ambition of BMW Group.

Cross-Industry Experts Sharing Insights into the Mobility of Future
The keynote speech will be followed by a panel discussion session consisting of Dr. Mario Urbina Cazenave and 3 experts from Qualcomm, Asus Cloud, and 7StarLake. They are going to share their insights into cross-industry cooperation and the trends of future mobility.
