Taiwan Engages Silicon Valley Founders to Advance Cross-Border Tech Collaboration through the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge and InnoVEX
The IC Taiwan Grand Challenge (ICTGC) successfully wrapped up its Silicon Valley event, “Bridging Silicon Valley and Taiwan: Semiconductor & AI Synergies,” on January 13, 2026, at the Startup Island TAIWAN Silicon Valley Hub in Palo Alto. The event welcomed over 300 founders, investors, corporate leaders, and researchers from the global innovation community, with 45% of participants being C-level executives or founders focused on AI, semiconductors, and hardware technologies.
Industry leaders shared practical insights on scaling deep-tech innovation through Taiwan–Silicon Valley collaboration. Speakers highlighted how Taiwan’s strengths in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced packaging, and end-to-end commercialization help startups move efficiently from design and prototyping to global deployment.
This milestone event reinforced Taiwan’s position as a strategic global launchpad for deep-tech startups. Innovators worldwide are invited to apply for ICTGC Batch 4 by February 28, 2026, and to join InnoVEX 2026 in Taipei, where bold ideas scale into world-ready technologies.
