In response to the pandemic COVID-19, the Organizers of COMPUTEX TAIPEI and InnoVEX, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) has mutually decided to cancel the COMPUTEX TAIPEI & InnoVEX 2020 Special Edition that was originally set to take place during 28th ~ 30th September 2020. The conclusion was made after careful consideration of the status of the pandemic which has deeply impacted the participation of international exhibitors, visitors and press media.
In the effort of combating COVID-19, Taiwan is currently on its 60th day of zero indigenous infection of COVID-19, and has announced a graduate step towards relaxing local measures as of 7th June 2020. Internationally, the pandemic has spread to 187 countries and has infected over seven million people, which has severely disrupted economy, trade, transportation and logistics as well as the Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing, Exhibitions industry (MICE). COMPUTEX TAIPEI is recognized as one of the most important international ICT B2B tradeshows, and has attracted 1,685 exhibitors from 30 countries and also 42,495 international visitors plus over one thousand press media from 171 countries in the year 2019. The tradeshow also includes international industry leaders attending COMPUTEX Forums and keynotes. The mutual conclusion of the cancellation of COMPUTEX TAIPEI & InnoVEX 2020 Special Edition by the Organizers was made after careful consideration in accordance to the set measures by the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control to place the health and safety of our participants as priority.
The Organizers announce that COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2021 will be hosted during 1st ~ 5th June 2021 (InnoVEX will be held during 2nd ~ 4th June 2021) at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 (TaiNEX 1), Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2 (TaiNEX 2), Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) and the Taipei World Trade Center respectively. International ICT/technology companies as well as tech-startups are encouraged to participate, and more information will be continuously updated via the official channels accordingly.
