Discover “Future” From Asia at InnoVEX of COMPUTEX TAIPEI

COMPUTEX TAIPEI, the largest B2B ICT tradeshow in Asia, established a new exhibit area for startups last year called InnoVEX, creating a platform for tech startups to network with global buyers, investors, and manufacturers and attracting over 10,000 visitors. Taiwan's technology innovations, adding to over a thousand ICT manufacturers and 40,000 overseas buyers at COMPUTEX, has made InnoVEX an one-of-a-kind startup event which accelerates commercialization and also provides effective matchmaking for capital and manufacturing capabilities.

InnoVEX will run from May 30th to June 1st in 2017 and has attracted more international elements this year, gathering 272 startups from 23 countries which showcase AR/VR, IoT, wearable technology, Cloud, healthcare technology, and other applications. A packed schedule of forum sessions, pitch contest, startup demos, and one-on-one business matchmaking will be offered at InnoVEX. The event will be broadcasted live on Twitch channel so that those who cannot attend the exhibition will not miss out on the exciting keynotes, panels, and demos.

More International Elements
35 percent of the exhibiting startup teams are from overseas. 70 percent of InnoVEX forum speakers comprise of representatives from international corporations or speakers who are well-known among startups.

Innovation Capability from Asia
The theme for InnoVEX this year is “Discover Future from Asia.” InnoVEX connects startups, capital, and manufacturers from all around Asia and provides them with a platform to accelerate commercialization. Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) will organize specialized pavilions and gather startups from 13 Asia countries and areas, including China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

Early Stage Ideas
Early-stage startups from incubators of 12 well-known Taiwan universities will join InnoVEX to demonstrate the infinite creativity of Taiwanese younger generation.

Insights from Global Startup Ecosystem
InnoVEX forum will be held at Center Stage, featuring 4 themes and 21 sessions, and will run for three days throughout the exhibition. Global corporations deeply invested in startups such as Microsoft, ARM, Google, Audi, and Samsung; firms well-known in the field of artificial intelligence such as Microsoft Research Asia, Amazon, Intel, and IBM; top ten U.S. accelerator Alchemist; Microsoft Accelerator; well-known accelerators from France, Schoolab, and from Japan, Startup Fukuoka; U.S. VC Fenox and French VC Hardware Club, as well as many other distinguished speakers will share their insights on artificial intelligence, digital economy, technology policies, startup ecosystem and more.

Connecting with Silicon Valley Investors
InnoVEX collaborates with Asia Silicon Valley Development Agency (ASVDA) to invite Silicon Valley investors to network with startups and industry professionals through business matchmaking, forums, and other activities at the exhibition.

Collaborating With LINE BOT to Provide A Brand New Exhibition Experience
InnoVEX’s collaboration with LINE BOT marks the first time that LINE BOT is used at a large-scale international exhibition. By adding InnoVEX official LINE account, visitors can get the latest exhibition schedules and announcements, exhibitor information, and also register for forums.
