With their rugged networking & AI, Pleora can deploy automated and rapid decision-making for imaging systems operating in harsh environments with scalable networking that acquires and processes multi-sensor data.

BujiBui

BujiBui of British Columbia efficiently integrates technologies used for 3D digital twins including CAD, IoT sensor data, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), AI, etc. into a customizable solution. Starting with a customer consultation & review, BujiBui's digital twin solutions are tailor made to their users' requirements. Using high performance computing and parallel processing, BujiBui can solve the challenges of interacting with cross-platform 3D data.

Leveraging cloud based Higher Performance Computing means users will not need a high-end device to visualize their digital twins. In fact, BujiBui's solutions allow users to visualize large 3D datasets on thin clients such as smartphones or tablets and make them remotely accessible. Their core technology is based on Domain Integration which means consolidating 3D data into single views, processing non-3D data with AI, integrating EAM, and running simulations. In addition, the BujiBui platform also allows for visualization on AR & VR devices as well as integrating SLAM technology for better spatial awareness.

Motion Gestures

From Ontario, Motion Gestures provides cutting edge camera-based hand tracking and gesture recognition software for enabling sophisticated user interaction with any product. Their team is comprised of a combination of researchers and engineers, with specializations in machine learning, gesture recognition, signal processing, and sensor fusion technologies. As the technology is applicable in various major industries and segments such as automotive, mobile devices, robotics, gaming, etc.; it is important to provide a powerful platform for building gestures-based interfaces quickly, cheaply, and effectively.

By combining Machine Learning, Gesture Recognition, Sensor Fusion, and Signal Processing; Motion Gestures is able to deploy their technology on any platform. Their breakthrough AI/ML approach reduces gesture development time by 10x while increasing recognition accuracy to 100% and can be used with ordinary cameras and processors. Motion Gestures also provides a mobile app for users to create a custom gesture that they can combine with their Gesture Recognition Engine (GRE) to implement in various products and devices.

CleanSlate UV

Based in Toronto, CleanSlate UV leverages UV-C light to create the next generation of intelligent sanitization solutions. As a biosafety company, their solutions can inactivate some of the most resilient bacteria and viruses without causing damages. Their solutions offer a sanitation station that include a UV-C device sanitizer, a hand sanitizing stand, as well as a software suite to improve hygiene efforts. Called CleanCloud, it uses a secure IoT gateway to connect every WiFi-enabled CleanSlate UV sanitizer to the Cloud. Currently their CleanSlate UV sanitizers have been deployed across multiple industries including hospitals & healthcare, corporate, hospitality, transportation, and food processing. Users will be able to enable data driven purchase decisions, reduce time spent on routine inspections, regulate maintenance schedules, target nosocomial infections with actionable reports, reduce disruptions to critical sanitization workflows, and proactively address staff concerns with real-time alerts.

HaiLa Technologies

HaiLa is a fabless semiconductor IoT company headquartered in Montreal with a mission to enable the widespread adoption of IoT. They aim to achieve this by reducing the power and cost of deployment by leveraging backscatter communication over existing RF infrastructure and focus on enabling this over wi-fi. HaiLa's platform enables ultra-low power sensors using ambient signals and dramatically increases the lifetime of wireless sensors used in IoT.

Adapting HaiLa's ultra-low power RF technology to Wi-Fi first allows users to deliver ultra-low power connectivity to every industry and leverage this sustainable technology to globally reduce carbon footprint and waste. The installed macro will shift the signal to a free Wi-Fi channel that is easily picked up by common Wi-Fi receivers. The macro then synchronizes to and retrieves data from length modulated Wi-Fi packages to allow operations. The solution is suitable for smart home/ building automation as well as in healthcare, smart cities, agriculture, and many other industries.
