2026 speaker

Shogo Fukushima received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Electro-Communications in 2013. He was a PRESTO Researcher at the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and an Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo. He is currently an Associate Professor at Kyushu University. During his doctoral studies, he was also a visiting student at MIT. His research interests include virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), human-computer interaction (HCI), emotion elicitation and augmentation, haptic interfaces, and technology-enhanced learning.
