Mitch is a successful entrepreneur with extensive experience in corporate governance and international business development with expertise in data communication and Industrial Automation technologies.
In the 1990s, as a young engineer, Mitch was heavily involved in the early stage of NASA's Internet development, participating in NASA network backbone deployment and TCP/IP standard definitions. After leaving NASA, Mitch founded EtherWAN Systems, one of the earliest industrial Ethernet switch/router companies. EtherWAN was acquired by Phoenix Contact, a 100-year-old, €3B revenue German company, in 2017. During his tenure with EtherwAN, Mitch was involved in many M&A cases on behalf of both the buy side and the sell side.
Mitch has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University, a master's degree in computer engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the Marshall School of USC.
