KCU GEN2 is KopherBit’s next-generation general purpose vehicle controller unit, built with the automotive-grade Infineon TriCore TC387. Its multi-core architecture allows developers to allocate processing resources efficiently, enabling multiple functions to run on a single platform. Developed in compliance with the AUTOSAR standard and designed with an open application layer, KCU GEN2 greatly reduces system integration barriers, helping OEMs and solution providers accelerate development and deployment. With ISO15118-compliant Power Line Communication (PLC), KCU GEN2 supports EVCC functions, making it future-ready for smart EV charging. Its rich I/O, CAN FD, LIN, and Ethernet interfaces, making it ideal for E-buses, commercial EVs, and intelligent vehicle systems. The KCU LITE Series is a compact and intelligent controller platform designed for electric scooters, e-bikes, golf carts, and other light-weight vehicles. Powered by the automotive-grade NXP S32K322 MCU, it integrates multiple digital, analog, and frequency inputs to support a wide range of sensors and control signals. With built-in CAN FD, high-side/low-side drivers, and analog outputs, it easily enables control of lighting, vehicle control modules, and more. The Smart version, equipped with the SC206E module, adds wireless connectivity, display signal processing, audio alerts, and G-sensor capabilities—all in one compact unit. This high level of integration significantly simplifies system design and shortens development time. With its small form factor, low power consumption, and versatile I/O, KCU LITE Smart helps customers achieve powerful functionality with minimal resources—making it the perfect choice for next-generation smart micro-mobility solutions.
