As the co-organizer of InnoVEX, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) announced that the InnoVEX 2023 Pitch Contest preliminary round judging process has been concluded. InnoVEX 2023 will be held in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2 (TaiNEX 2) 1F. This year, the InnoVEX 2023 Pitch Contest will not have a semifinal round and will proceed directly to the Finals which will take place on June 2, 13:00 – 15:10 on the Pi Stage and the Pitch Contest winners will be announced on June 2, 16:00 – 17:00 on the Center Stage.

This year, many international startups registered for the InnoVEX Pitch Contest; 35% of which were from a total of 12 countries/areas, including Japan, Hong Kong, Italy, US, Brazil, Canada, South Korea, Chile, Egypt, Germany, and India. From the 80 participants, 10 startups were selected to proceed to the final stage to compete for the prizes with a total value of USD 120,000 ranging from cash prizes, networking opportunities, professional services/ resources, and more. The categories of the finalists include 5G & IoT, AI & Big Data, Healthcare & Biotech, and Manufacturing Technology that represent the industry’s main interests.

The finalists will pitch onsite to the judges, including: Ravi Belani, a Co-Founder of Alchemist Accelerator (US); Tom Vanhoutte, the founder and managing partner of imec.xpand (Belgium); Michel Chu, President/CEO of ITIC (Taiwan); Jason Lu, Director of Darwin Ventures (Taiwan); and Alyssa Chen, Principal of AppWorks (Taiwan).
