The innovation hub of Asia, InnoVEX, will return in an onsite format from June 4 to 7, 2024, in the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2. As a startup-focused exhibition, InnoVEX is held concurrently with COMPUTEX to help connect the participating startups and teams with potential partners, CVCs, market channels, as well as media resources participating in COMPUTEX. To help connect startups and teams directly onsite and online, InnoVEX 2024 is open for registration from September 18, 2023.
The triumphant return of InnoVEX in 2023 hosted 400 exhibitors from 22 countries & regions and attracted 23,726 visitors from 113 countries & regions. Combining the onsite event with the online platform, InnoVEX 2023 was joined by startup pavilions organized by international trade offices and business associations.
This year, the country pavilions participating in InnoVEX were organized by Japan, Israel, Brazil, France, Italy, Belgium, Poland, and the Netherlands trade offices. As one of the most influential startup events, InnoVEX is also strongly supported by Taiwan government agencies as well as Taiwan's international startup hubs such as Startup Terrace, Taiwan Tech Arena, and Garage+.
One of the mainstays of InnoVEX, the InnoVEX 2023 Forum had more than 60 speakers and over 80 demo pitches representing various world-leading companies, including NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Volkswagen Group, SUBARU, KDDI, and more. The topics discussed in the forum covered various trends in both Taiwan and abroad, including smart mobility, startup trends, ESG, and other existing and emerging trends. In total, the online videos have been viewed globally over 920,000 times on YouTube.
To further promote and support participation from innovative startups, the InnoVEX 2023 Pitch Contest had a prize pool worth a total of USD 120 thousand in cash prizes as well as professional resources. A total of 11 startups won the 12 awards provided by the organizer, partners, and sponsors, including ISCO, KPMG, Plug and Play Taiwan, Qualcomm, SMEA, Startup Terrace and Taiwania Capital, etc.
A total of 450 tech startups and 25,000 visitors are expected to join InnoVEX 2024 with a special focus on emerging and ongoing trends, such as Smart Mobility, Semiconductor Applications, and Green Tech. Startups focusing on these categories are encouraged to register early to benefit from the special promotional efforts by the organizer. InnoVEX also seeks sponsors for these 3 special areas to boost technology advancement and create more business collaborations among mature industries and entrepreneurs.
