Asia’s landmark international startup exhibition, InnoVEX 2026, will take place from June 2 to 5, 2026, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. According to the Taipei Computer Association (TCA), one of the organizers, InnoVEX positions itself as the “Innovation Hub of Asia” and is held annually in conjunction with Asia’s leading B2B technology trade show, COMPUTEX.
The event not only connects startups with global venture capital (VC), accelerators, and media, but also facilitates collaboration between corporate venture capital (CVC) and international startups, while bridging government-backed innovation resources worldwide.
By doing so, InnoVEX significantly shortens the time required for startups to enter global markets, helps them secure mass-production partners, and fosters a unique B2B innovation ecosystem. It has become a must-attend annual event for industry professionals focused on emerging technologies and has successfully assisted numerous startups in securing investments from both venture capitalists and major corporations.
InnoVEX 2025 hosting over 450 startups from 24 countries and regions, making it the largest edition to date. The event featured 10 national pavilions, including Japan, Thailand, France, Poland, Israel, the Czech Republic, Belgium, the Philippines, Australia, and Brazil.
It also welcomed government-backed projects and award-winning teams (from Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Digital Affairs, Keelung City, New Taipei City, MOEA’s Smart Innovation Awards, and NSTC’s ICTGC competition), international accelerators (Garage+, StarFab, Taipei Exchange, NVIDIA Inception Program, Edge AI Foundation, Intralink), and leading academic-industry collaboration teams (National Taiwan University System Research Commercialization Platform, NYCU, NCKU, TNUA, and NSYSU’s Southern Taiwan IC Design Promotion Base).
Cutting-edge technologies in AI, semiconductors, smart mobility, robotics, biotech, smart agriculture, and green energy solutions were showcased, drawing 33,851 industry professionals from around the world over the four-day exhibition.
The InnoVEX Pitch Contest, hosted annually by the organizers, continues to be a highlight of the event. Each year, renowned VCs, CVCs, and accelerators from around the globe serve as judges, selecting outstanding startups across diverse industries. Winning teams gain heightened visibility and attract significant investor attention.
For example, DeepX, a Korean AI chip design startup and winner of the Startup Terrace Award at InnoVEX 2023, not only showcased mass-production-ready AI products in collaboration with 11 Taiwanese IPC and server manufacturers during COMPUTEX 2025, but also announced plans to pursue an IPO in 2027. The company is preparing a new round of fundraising, projected to exceed the US$79 million it raised during its Series C round in 2024.
Watasumi, a Japanese startup and recipient of the 2024 InnoVEX Pitch Contest’s Future Star Award, announced in 2025 that it secured JPY 700 million in funding from the Okinawa Development Finance Corporation and Bank of Okinawa, along with a direct investment from J-POWER, helping the company scale its operations.
Looking ahead, InnoVEX 2026 will spotlight emerging opportunities in semiconductors, AI applications, biotechnology, and robotics. The exhibition will be held from June 2 to 5, 2026, on the 4th floor of Hall 2 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX 2).
To streamline registration, TCA has announced that early bird registration will be open from September 22, 2025, to January 15, 2026. Early bird participants will enjoy discounted booth rates, priority booth selection, and the newly introduced option to secure participation with a partial deposit.
International and domestic startups, accelerators, and innovation hubs are encouraged to register online during the early bird period. Full registration details and application procedures are available on the official InnoVEX website: https://innovex.computex.biz/show/default.aspx.
