Known as the "Innovation Hub of Asia" and held concurrently with COMPUTEX TAIPEI, InnoVEX — Asia's leading and largest technology startup exhibition — concluded successfully on June 5. Co-organizer TCA (Taipei Computer Association), announced that InnoVEX 2026 reached a new record in exhibition scale, gathering nearly 500 domestic and international startup teams from 23 countries and regions.
The exhibition had five major themed pavilions, including: National Pavilions (covering 9 countries: Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand); Government Program and Award-Winning Teams (including the Industrial Development Administration, Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration, Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Digital Affairs' Administration for Digital Industries, and the National Science and Technology Council's IC Taiwan Grand Challenge), Industry-Academia Collaboration, Local Government Startup Special Pavilions, and Domestic and International Startup Accelerators.
Showcased technologies spanned popular "NEXT AI" applications and pioneering technologies including AI Innovation, Medtech, Semiconductor Applications, Next-Gen Entertainment, Robotics, Smart Mobility, and Next-Gen Communications. Over the four-day exhibition, the event attracted a total of 44,038 domestic and international professionals, representing 30% growth compared to last year.
Focusing on Physical AI Applications — U.S. Startup RLWRLD Wins Grand Prize at InnoVEX 2026 Pitch Contest
TCA noted that the InnoVEX 2026 Pitch Contest, with a total prize value of over USD $180,000, concluded after fierce competition. The InnoVEX Pitch Contest Grand Prize – co-sponsored by KPMG with a total value of USD $40,000 — was awarded to RLWRLD - RLDX-1 (Physical AI Robot Foundation Model) from the United States. The Future Star Award, exclusively for early-stage startups (exclusively sponsored by KPMG), was awarded to Quantum NIL Corporation.
RLWRLD is a Physical AI company developing robotics foundation models (RFM) and software systems designed to integrate perception, reasoning, and control in real-world environments. Unlike AI trained on internet data, RLWRLD focuses on building “real-world intelligence” for automating complex physical tasks across manufacturing, logistics, and service industries. The company is not focused on demonstrations of general-purpose robotics. Instead, it prioritizes deployable solutions—specifically high-precision, five-finger dexterity and reliable automation that can operate in live industrial settings.
The InnoVEX 2026 Pitch Contest Grand Prize content includes: USD $10,000 cash from the organizer, one complimentary seat in the KPMG Energize Program (July cohort), one Shell Scheme booth at InnoVEX 2027, InnoVEX official promotional resources (dedicated Pitch Contest page, press interview, promotional video, newsletter coverage), one-on-one VC judge matchmaking, and a trophy and certificate.
Special Award sponsors — including Applied Ventures, Industrial Technology Investment Corporation (ITIC), KONST, NVIDIA Inception Taiwan, the ResorTech EXPO in Okinawa Executive Committee, Plug and Play Taiwan, PwC Taiwan, Startup Terrace, Taiwania Capital, and Tesoro VC — simultaneously announced their respective sponsored award winners. The winners include the following startup teams: Leafy Lab Inc., RLWRLD, AWL - Electricity, Diden Robotics, Vellex Computing, Amelio Biomedical Co., Ltd., Avalanche Computing Taiwan Inc, and Quobly.
