Mr. Mark Chen leads Himax's ultra-low-power edge AI processor products, achieving over 100X energy reduction for always-on vision and voice recognition, with power consumption in the milliwatt range. He pioneered AI PC, door lock, and smart home applications from the ground up, now shipping over 5 million chips and modules annually.

Before joining Himax, Mark spearheaded TV/Satellite silicon RF tuner and mixed-signal product teams at Sunplus Technology.

He also established and led the high-speed optical fiber transceiver IC products line from 155MHz to 10Gbps at iCreate Technology, which was later acquired by TM tech, a subsidiary of Etron Technology, in 2007. During 2005 and 2006, his efforts resulted in the largest market share of optical transceiver market share in the Asia Pacific region.

With over 25 years of experience in low power, mixed-signal, and RF product development, He has a proven track record in forming and managing cross-functional teams.
