Dr. Naser M. El-Sheimy, PEng, is a distinguished leader and innovator in the field of geomatics engineering, serving as Chairman of Micro Engineering Tech Inc. Group of Companies and as a Professor in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at the University of Calgary. As a Canada Research Chair and Killam Professor, he has made significant contributions to research and education, earning international recognition including fellowship in both the Canadian Academy of Engineering and the US Institute of Navigation (ION). His exemplary career bridges academic excellence and industry leadership, positioning him as a prominent figure in advancing technology and engineering solutions on a global scale.
