Harpal J.S. Mandaher is the CEO and co-founder of Sarcomere Dynamics, a pioneering robotics company specializing in high-dexterity, near-human robotic hands for automation, teleoperations, and complex manufacturing tasks. Leading the company’s strategic direction, partnerships, and international expansion, Harpal is driving the development of synthetic labor solutions to address global workforce challenges.
A retired Canadian Infantry Officer with over 32 years of military service, Harpal brings extensive experience in leadership, operational execution, and project management. He has managed complex, multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments and is formally trained in military project management, equipment procurement, and technology fielding.
Harpal holds a Bachelor of Military Arts and Sciences (BMASc) and a Master of Defense Studies (MDS) from the Royal Military College of Canada. Under his leadership, Sarcomere Dynamics is at the forefront of integrating robotics, sensors, edge computing and AI, making automation more adaptable and accessible.
