James Ashforth-Pook is a seasoned technology executive with over 35 years of leadership experience in corporate management, business development, and strategic growth across the global semiconductor ecosystem. As Co-Founder and CEO of Quinas Technology, James is spearheading the commercialisation of ULTRARAM™, a groundbreaking next-generation memory device with the potential to redefine high-speed, ultra-low-power, non-volatile computing.

Throughout his career, James has been instrumental in multiple Silicon Valley startups, driving them from inception to successful exits. His expertise spans semiconductor design, electronic design automation (EDA), and advanced memory technologies, with leadership roles in major corporations such as Motorola, Synopsys, and Cadence Design Systems. He has successfully led global teams, expanded market reach, and executed strategic partnerships that have accelerated innovation and growth.

At Quinas Technology, James is focused on leveraging his extensive industry network to secure funding, establish strategic alliances, and position ULTRARAM™ as a transformative memory solution for AI, Edge Computing, and next-generation data storage.
