As one of Asia’s leading startup exhibitions, InnoVEX—organized by the Taipei Computer Association (TCA) and held concurrently with COMPUTEX—celebrated its 10th anniversary this year under the theme “Innovation Hub of Asia.” The event successfully concluded on May 23, bringing together over 450 startup teams from 24 countries and regions, making it the largest edition yet.
InnoVEX 2025 featured 10 national pavilions—including Japan, Thailand, France, Poland, Israel, Czech Republic, Belgium, the Philippines, Australia, and Brazil—alongside teams supported by government programs and startup competitions (such as the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Keelung City, New Taipei City, Best AI Awards, and the NSTC’s IC Taiwan Grand Challenge). It also hosted accelerators and incubators from Taiwan and abroad (Garage+, StarFab, TPEx, NVIDIA Inception Program, Edge AI Foundation, Intralink), as well as top university-industry collaboration teams (including Global Industry Platform of NTU System (T5GIP), National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Kung University, Taipei National University of the Arts, and National Sun Yat-sen University’s Southern Taiwan IC Design Industry Promotion Hub.)
Aligned with the main theme “AI NEXT,” participating startups showcased cutting-edge innovations across AI applications, semiconductors, smart mobility, quantum computing, biomedical technology, smart agriculture, and green energy solutions. Over the four-day exhibition, InnoVEX welcomed a total of 33,851 domestic and international professionals.
InnoVEX also attracted strong support from the public sector and startup ecosystem stakeholders. The opening ceremony featured speeches from Premier of the Executive Yuan Cho Jung-Tai, TCA Chairman Paul Peng, and TAITRA Chairman James Huang. Dignitaries in attendance included Executive Yuan Secretary-General Kung Ming-Hsin; Minister of National Development Council Liu, Chin-Ching; Minister of Economic Affairs Jyh-Huei Kuo; Minister of Ministry of Digital Affairs Yennun Huang; and Executive Yuan Spokesperson Hui-chih Michelle LEE. Together, they viewed a commemorative video marking the 10th anniversary of InnoVEX, followed by a ceremonial cake-cutting led by Premier Cho, Chairman Peng, and Chairman Huang.
DeepRad.AI Wins Grade Prize at InnoVEX 2025 Pitch Contest
The InnoVEX 2025 Pitch Contest, with a total prize value exceeding USD 140,000, concluded after an intense competition among global startups. The Grand Prize was awarded to DeepRad.AI for its innovative solution, DeepLung-CAC, while the Future Star Award—sponsored by Piece Future and designed to spotlight early-stage startups—was claimed by KopherBit.
DeepLung-CAC, developed by DeepRad.AI, is an all-in-one screening system targeting the chest region, encompassing the lung, heart, and bone. Utilizing deep learning analysis on low-dose chest CT scans, this multi-module system is capable of automatically detecting lung nodules, predicting coronary artery calcification risk, and assessing bone density risk. As well as an auto report system that allows radiologists to preview and edit the comprehensive report.
The Grand Prize package includes USD 10,000 in cash, a free standard booth at InnoVEX 2026, exclusive promotional opportunities (including official media coverage and a feature video), one-on-one investor matchmaking with VC judges, a trophy and certificate, and a round-trip economy class ticket from Taipei to any U.S. destination sponsored by United Airlines. In addition, the winner will receive access to the KPMG Energize Program, a startup acceleration curriculum valued at USD 10,000.
Additional prizes were presented by key sponsors including Applied Ventures, Industrial Technology Investment Corporation (ITIC), Vietnam's BSSC, ENSPYRE CORPORATION, NVIDIA Inception Program, PwC Taiwan, ResorTech EXPO in Okinawa, SMEA (Small and Medium Enterprise Administration, MOEA), and Taiwania Capital. Recognized startups include NeuReality, APMIC (Accelerate Private Machine Intelligence Company), AeiRobot, Deeli AI, SOIC Marine Solutions, EndoSemio, Femtosense, and Jmem Technology.
