InnoVEX 2024 will be held from June 4 to 7, 2024 in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX) Hall 2. As one of the organizers of the event, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) pointed out that InnoVEX 2024 will focus on AI, Green Tech, Semiconductor Applications, and Smart Mobility; reflecting the current ongoing trends in the tech industry.

To help facilitate visitors meet and connect with the startups, the matchmaking system is being rolled out for registration purposes. Users will need to fill in the information for verification purposes and after the information is confirmed, users can find the startup they want to arrange an in-person matchmaking with the exhibitor.

The matchmaking platform aims to help local and international VCs, CVCs, system integrators, distributors, users, buyers, and more meet the startups they are interested in more directly. After users' data are reviewed and confirmed, they can directly make online reservations to meet the startups they are interested in. Here are the steps to sign up to the matchmaking platform:

1. Visitors interested in the matchmaking will need to register on the matchmaking system as either a domestic or international visitor.
2. Users have to enter their information for verification purposes. After the organizer has successfully confirmed the information, they can enter the matchmaking platform.
3. Users can click on the "Exhibitor List" on the left-hand side of the menu. After finding the startups they want to connect with, the users can enter the exhibitor introduction page to confirm the startup teams' information. After this step is done, users will need to click on the "Send Invitation" button to select the matchmaking period and venue. The invitation will be sent to the startups to confirm their availability.
4. If the startups confirm the time and place, the system will automatically send a notification to the users’ email. The user can also confirm the invitation through the matchmaking system.

Introducing InnoVEX 2024 Pavilions: National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) Pavilion

TCA stated that a total of 350 startups from over 30 countries and regions, including 17 pavilions organized by international trade offices, accelerators, government agencies, etc. will join InnoVEX 2024. One of the pavilions is the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) Pavilion which will feature startups from The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University, Center of Industry Accelerator and Patent Strategy (IAPS), ESG accelerator, and ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator.

ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator is commissioned by the Ministry of Education's Sports Administration and operated by the Industrial Accelerator and Patent Development Strategy Center (IAPS) at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. It is Asia's first sports technology innovation accelerator program and the program has cultivated 117 sports technology startups from 22 different countries and facilitated investments totaling USD 28 million to date.

At this year's InnoVEX, the ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator will bring 8 outstanding sports technology startups from Taiwan, including: AIGYM, AQUVIVO, CREST, Fortune AI, FUNIQUE VR, IMOTEK, mbranfiltra, and 3T MAGIC. These startups span various technologies such as VR and AI, applied in diverse sports scenarios, showcasing the flourishing landscape of Taiwan's sports technology industry.
