A significant amount of companies and organizations as well as governments today aim to achieve Net Zero by 2050. Various efforts have been exerted to get closer to this goal, including by decarbonizing transportation; which has helped drive the growth of the EV market. To leverage this trend, InnoVEX 2024 will host the Toward the EV Era Forum which will feature industry leaders who will explore the evolution of EVs in several aspects. This includes the ongoing developments in the EV ecosystem and discussions on the future opportunities and challenges in the industry.
As one of the organizers of InnoVEX, Taipei Computer Association (TCA) stated that the forum will be held in the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2, June 6, 2024 13:30 –16:30 (GMT+8 ). The rise of EV also shows a key trend in the automotive industry which is the increasing electrification in cars, including in the number and value of electronics in the vehicles.
As the EV industry integrates both the ICT industry as well as the automotive industry, the forum will have speakers representing the various industries that contribute to EV, including: semiconductors, consultancy, automotive, etc. The forum will feature Dr. Frank C. Huang, the Founder and Chairman of Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC) and chairman of Taiwan Advanced Automotive Technology Development Association (TADA) who will deliver the opening address.

Carlo Donzella has 40 years of experience in R&D and innovation management, project management, and quality assurance in the digital technology sector, with applications across multiple industries, especially in mobile, transportation, automotive, and media. Dr. Thiam Soon Gan oversees program quality in the company. He brings over 20 years of industrial experience from aerospace, automotive and mobility industries (Airbus / Daimler (Mercedes-Benz) / Continental). Formerly an aerospace and automotive engineer who started his career Germany, he is passionate about shaping the future of mobility industries. He is particularly interested in design, production and supply chain management of air and land mobility systems using advanced analytics and AI solutions. - Outlook for EV in India - Opportunities and Challenges by Karthi Madhavan, Country Head, Tata Consultancy Services
Karthi Madhavan is presently the Country Head of Tata Consultancy Services, Taiwan, ROC. He has over 29 years of experience in Business Operations Management and Growth, Delivery Unit Management, People Management and Coaching and International Business in IT and Services Sector across various geographies. Karthi is very passionate about education and he's an honorary member of the Management Council of Karnataka Industrial Training Institute (ITI). Takeshi Fuse has many years of experience in Semiconductor industry with product responsibilities in the global market. Makoto Morikawa has close to 2 decades in the automotive industry, starting from Toyota Motor Corporation in 2005. As a Joint Venture between Toyota and SoftBank, MONET Technologies focuses on 3 main business domains: on demand mobility services, data-analysis services, and Autono-MaaS to help realize a safer and more comfortable mobility society by combining SoftBank's corporate philosophy, "Information Revolution—Happiness for everyone," with Toyota's vision of "Mobility for All."
