The second batch of the InnoVEX 2025 Pitch Contest brings up the total prize pool to USD 140,000. The second batch includes the Grand Prize, Enspyre Award, Startup Terrace Award, NVIDIA Award, Taiwania Capital Innovation Award, Applied Ventures & ITIC Award, and BSSC Award. Featuring the largest prize pool since its full return in 2022, InnoVEX 2025 also features an expansion to the Pitch Contest registration rules that will also allow non-exhibitors to join if they pay the participation fee.

InnoVEX 2025 Grand Prize Awards Provides the Winner with Cash, Resources, and Airfare Worth Over USD 30,000

The Grand Prize continues to be one of the highlights of the InnoVEX Pitch Contest as the winner will be awarded in the Center Stage by the attending judges. The Grand Prize is sponsored by the organizers of InnoVEX and will award the winner with USD 10,000 cash prize, as well as a shell scheme booth for InnoVEX 2026. The recipient of the Grand Prize will also receive promotional resources, including a news interview, and a video interview from the organizer; and the opportunity to join a matchmaking session with the VC judges. A new addition to this year’s Grand Prize is a complimentary economy class air ticket from Taipei – US sponsored by United Airlines.

United Airlines, with its long-standing presence in the Taiwanese market, understands the needs of entrepreneurs and business travelers for greater flexibility and convenience in their itineraries. To facilitate startups in their business expansion to the United States, the complimentary air ticket will take the winner directly from Taipei to San Francisco, or they may fly further to any destination in the United States via smooth flight connections.

In addition, the winner will be able to join the 2025 KPMG Energize Program for Entrepreneurs for 1 which is valued at USD 8,000. The program will feature KPMG experts who combine professional accounting knowledge with practical cases to provide solid management courses to break down the most common problems such as financial management, equity planning and transnational operations encountered by startup companies. After the course ended, the winner will continue to enjoy 7 hours of KPMG consultation valued at USD 2,000 or KPMG Meet & Match close-door matchmaking events for international teams.

Enspyre Award Includes Promotional Resources and Lead-Generation Valued at Over USD 10,000

Enspyre is a B2B Lead Generation company in Taiwan that helps businesses identify and connect with high-potential business customers. With their extensive B2B database and targeted outreach strategies, they accelerate the process of converting prospects into valuable partners, distributors, and customers. In their debut as an InnoVEX Pitch Contest sponsor, the Enspyre Award will include programs and resources valued at a total of over USD 10,000.

The Enspyre Award will have 1 winner who will receive up to 4 hours of meetings with Enspyre's B2B Consultant to discuss market entry, 4 hours of a Sales Team training program or 1 B2B GTM Report of the Taiwan market. In addition, Enspyre will execute minimum 200 cold-outreach to potential market returning and minimum 100 cold-outreach invitations to potential key figures to provide valuable market information.

Startup Terrace Award 2025 Empowers Global Startups

To encourage international startups to explore opportunities in Taiwan and collaborate with local industries, the Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration (SMESA) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs will sponsor the Startup Terrace Award (ST Award) at the InnoVEX 2025 Pitch Contest.

Aimed at helping overseas startups establish a presence in Taiwan and expand into the Asian market, the ST Award offers a cash prize of up to USD 20,000 (tax included), one year of free residency at Startup Terrace in either Linkou or Kaohsiung, and comprehensive support services such as investor matchmaking, industry connections, and access to government resources. The winner will also receive a trophy, certificate, and video feature by the organizer. The award is open to international startups founded after January 1, 2017, excluding those with investment from Mainland China.

Taiwania Capital Innovation Award Focuses on Innovative Technologies with International Competitiveness

Taiwania Capital has been a consistent sponsor of the InnoVEX Pitch Contest since 2019. As in previous years, the Taiwania Capital Innovation Award focuses on innovative technologies with international competitiveness. The award also encourages startups from Southeast Asia, the U.S.A., Japan, and Central and Eastern Europe — or those intending to expand into these markets. For InnoVEX 2025, the award’s focus has been updated to include AIoT, AI, IoT, digital transformation, and biotechnology-related topics.

Startups aiming to compete for the Taiwania Capital Innovation Award are encouraged to include their strategic plans for expanding into international markets—particularly the regions mentioned above—in their uploaded pitch decks. The winner will receive a USD 10,000 (tax included) cash prize, a video interview, a trophy, and a certificate provided by the organizer.

BSSC Award to Help Startups Expand to Southeast Asia, Starting from Vietnam

Business Startup Support Centre (BSSC) is a leading startup support organization providing support for young entrepreneurs in Vietnam and facilitating the entry of international startups into Vietnam. As a nonprofit governmental organization under the Vietnamese government, BSSC offers comprehensive activities catered to startups at every developmental stage, including: financial support; incubators and accelerators; international startup competitions; and startup events.

BSSC is continuing its commitment to fostering innovation by sponsoring the BSSC Award at InnoVEX 2025. This prestigious award will grant the sole winner resources valued at USD 10,000, automatic placement within the Top 30 of the Startup Wheel International Track 2025, and access to their exclusive online workshop. The award package also includes complimentary participation in InnoEx 2025, featuring a 2-day exhibition table, a startup pitch session (with potential advancement to the semi-final and final stages for the Top 5 and Top 1), and inclusion in the InnoEx handbook. InnoVEX 2025 Pitch Contest Registration Closing Soon, Interested Teams are Invited to Sign Up as Soon as Possible

2025 marks the 10th anniversary of InnoVEX 2025 and the event has grown significantly in this period; with the number of exhibitors doubling from 2016, while the number of visitors has tripled. Celebrating this remarkable milestone, the rules for the InnoVEX Pitch Contest have also been updated to allow non-exhibitors to join the competition after paying their registration fee; while InnoVEX 2025 exhibitors can join the Pitch Contest for free. As added incentive to participate in the Pitch Contest, the top 15 finalists will be able to join a dedicated one-on-one matchmaking event on Day 4 of InnoVEX 2025.

A new addition for the winners of the InnoVEX 2025 Pitch Contest will be the free interview by EE Times. The recorded video will be conducted in the Media Correspondence Room of InnoVEX 2025 and the finalized video will be provided to the winners in June 2025. Other teams who are interested in this opportunity may also purchase the Interview Video Package for the same benefits.
